Marathi playback singer Aarya Ambekar will headline the fourth edition of Diwali Sandhya, a musical programme being organised by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Kharghar, following requests from local residents.
Conceived at the initiative of Panvel MLA Prashant Thakur, the programme is being organised for the fourth consecutive year. Ambekar will present a musical evening featuring a selection of popular songs, offering Kharghar residents an opportunity to enjoy a live performance during the festive season.
The event is scheduled for Saturday, 7 November 2026, at 6.30 pm at Gaodevi Ground, Sector 12, Kharghar. Set against the festive backdrop of Diwali, the musical evening is expected to draw residents and music enthusiasts from the area. Admission to the programme will be free.
The organisers have invited residents of Kharghar to attend the programme in large numbers and enjoy the musical celebration with their families.
The appeal has been made by BJP Kharghar Mandal president and corporator Pravin Patil, along with other office-bearers.
