Panvel Municipal Corporation Commissioner (PMC) Mangesh Chitale has urged residents to take necessary precautions in view of the rising summer heat across the region.
In a message shared via the corporation’s official X handle, Chitale highlighted the increasing intensity of temperatures and appealed to citizens to take care of their health during this period.

The advisory comes as temperatures have touched around 40°C on certain days, with average readings ranging between 30°C and 36°C. Evening humidity levels have also been high, rising to nearly 80 per cent, adding to discomfort.
Along with the message, the civic body has shared a detailed three-page advisory outlining precautionary measures, including general health safeguards and steps to minimise exposure to extreme heat.
