Students from Don Bosco School, Seawoods and St Wilfred School, Ulwe visited the Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA) for an educational tour of its Airport Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) facilities.
During the visit, ARFF officers demonstrated the functioning of Crash Fire Tender (CFT) vehicles and explained their role in handling emergency situations at airports.
The students were also taken to the Air Traffic Control (ATC) tower, where they were introduced to the operational aspects of airport management and control room functions.
The visit provided students with an opportunity to gain first-hand insight into aviation safety systems and airport operations.
