A flute ensemble programme titled ‘Krishna Venunad’ will be held in Panvel on April 12 as part of the Amrut Mahotsav year of former Member of Parliament Ramsheth Thakur.
The event is scheduled to be held at 10:30 am at the Adya Krantiveer Vasudev Balwant Phadke Natyagruha in Panvel.
Programme to feature large group of flautists
The programme will be presented by Eknath Thakur Gurukul and will feature a group performance by more than 50 flute players.
The presentation is based on the theme of Krishna’s flute, with compositions centred on devotional and classical elements.
Participation of guest artists and organisers
The programme is being presented by Rangrachana Kala Manch, Panvel. Singer Prajakta Gavande, known for her participation in Indian Idol, will be present.
Music arrangement has been done by Vivek Thakur, while the programme will be compered by Vijay Pawar.
Open entry for attendees
Entry to the programme has been kept free. Organisers have appealed to residents and music enthusiasts from Panvel and nearby areas to attend.
