The Panvel Municipal Corporation’s (PMC) cleanliness drive has gained momentum following the recent deployment of advanced sanitation equipment across the city.
The PMC recently dedicated advanced cleaning vehicles to public service, and inducted six new vehicles, along with litter picker machines and mechanised sweeping systems, the civic body has begun strengthening its approach to routine cleaning and maintenance.
The use of this equipment is enabling more efficient cleaning of roads and public spaces, including areas that are typically difficult to manage through manual methods alone.
As these systems are gradually being integrated into daily operations, they are expected to support improved waste management and contribute to maintaining cleaner urban surroundings.
