Actor Prasad Khandekar has appealed to residents of Navi Mumbai to actively participate in Census 2027 and complete the ongoing self-enumeration process within the stipulated deadline.
As part of the digital-first Census 2027 exercise, the self-enumeration facility has been made available from 1 May to 15 May through the official portal, allowing residents to submit household information online in a secure and convenient manner.
Khandekar emphasised the importance of census participation in supporting the country’s overall planning and development process and encouraged residents to complete their self-enumeration accurately through the official website.

Field visits by enumerators to begin from May 16
Residents have also been informed that field enumerators will begin household visits between May 16 and June 14 as part of the second phase of Census 2027.
During these visits, residents have been requested to cooperate with officials and provide complete and accurate information to support the verification process.
Celebrity outreach campaigns continue in Navi Mumbai
The latest appeal forms part of a wider public outreach effort being undertaken in Navi Mumbai to increase awareness around Census 2027 self-enumeration.
Earlier, Actor Sumeet Raghavan had also appealed to Navi Mumbai residents on behalf of the NMMC highlighting the importance of resident participation and accurate self-enumeration.
Self-enumeration facility available till May 15
Residents can complete the process online through the official self-enumeration portal before the May 15 deadline. The digital process allows households to submit information in advance, helping make upcoming field verification visits smoother and quicker.
