Panvel witnessed an evening of rhythm, expression and artistic celebration as the ‘Natnotsav’ cultural programme was organised by Nrutyarpan Fine Art Centre at the Senior Citizens’ Association hall.
The event brought together a range of performances rooted in Indian classical traditions along with other art forms, offering a platform to emerging artists to present their work before an engaged audience.
Chief guest corporator Paresh Thakur lauds organisers, underscores role of art
Corporator Paresh Thakur, the chief guest at the programme and a former Leader of the House of the Panvel Municipal Corporation, lauded the organisers for creating a platform that encourages artistic expression. He noted that art provides individuals with an important means to express themselves, particularly in today’s fast-paced environment where such avenues are often limited.
He further observed that initiatives like Natnotsav contribute to personality development by building confidence and allowing young artists to explore their creative potential.
Captivating performances display discipline, expression and coordination
The programme featured a series of classical dance performances marked by expressive storytelling, rhythm and coordination. The participants, many of them young and upcoming artists, reflected sustained practice and discipline through their presentations, drawing appreciation from those present.
The theme of the event, centred on connecting through art and expression, was evident across performances and added a sense of cohesion to the evening.
