Young windsurfer Priyanshi Mayur Patil, who has represented India at national and international competitions, met Paresh Thakur, vice-president of the Maharashtra Badminton Association and a Panvel Municipal Corporation (PMC) corporator, during a courtesy visit in Panvel.
Thakur congratulated Priyanshi on her achievements in windsurfing and wished her success in her upcoming competitions. He also expressed the hope that she would go on to represent India at the Olympic Games and bring recognition to the country.
Priyanshi competes in the Techno 293 windsurfing category in the under-17 girls’ group. She has represented India at competitions held in several countries, including Singapore, Thailand, Türkiye, Poland and Malaysia.
She has also been selected and qualified for the Youth Olympic Games, according to the information provided.
