Panvel: Former Member of Parliament Ramsheth Thakur has been appointed as an advisor to the Konkan Marathi Sahitya Parishad (Komsap), with the announcement made during a central executive committee meeting held in Ratnagiri.

The meeting took place at the Kavi Keshavsut Memorial in Malgund, where the appointment was finalised by senior members of the organisation, including founder president and noted litterateur Padma Shri Madhu Mangesh Karnik, president Namita Keer, and working president Dr Pradeep Dhaval.

Following the announcement, members of the Raigad district unit of the Konkan Marathi Sahitya Parishad extended their congratulations to Ramsheth Thakur.
