In Navi Mumbai, civic outreach and public messaging have been underway to encourage residents to participate in the process, by both the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) and the Panvel Municipal Corporation (PMC), with key officials like NMMC Commisoner Dr. Kailas Shinde, Mayor Sujata Patil, PMC Mayor Nitin Patil, and Forest Minister Ganesh Naik, among others already having completed their self-enumeration process individually.
Popular actor Sumeet Raghavan has also appealed to citizens to take part on behalf of the NMMC.
