Continuing the series of social and community initiatives organised on the occasion of corporator Paresh Thakur’s birthday, a special animal health camp was conducted at Panvel Panjarpol Gaushala with the aim of promoting animal welfare and healthcare awareness.
The camp was inaugurated by former Leader of the House in Panvel Municipal Corporation (PMC) and current corporator Paresh Thakur along with his wife Archana Paresh Thakur.
The initiative was organised by Yash Sanjay Jain of the Ministry of Pets, a pet store and clinic in Panvel, and focused on the healthcare and wellbeing of animals housed at the gaushala.
During the camp, expert veterinary doctors conducted health check-ups for animals and provided guidance related to animal care and treatment.
Several public representatives and local office-bearers were present during the programme, including corporators Raju Soni and Sumit Jhunjarrao, Nitin Munoth, Sanjay Jain, BJYM district president Anand Dhawale and Adesh Thakur.
Earlier, sports events including the “Pareshsheth Thakur Kesari 2026” wrestling tournament and the “Pareshdada Cup 2026” night cricket tournament were also organised in Panvel and Kamothe as part of the birthday-related programmes.
