A cultural programme titled ‘Avghya Asha Shriramarpan’ was organised in Panvel on March 22, marking the occasion of Ram Navami and the Amrut Mahotsav year of former Member of Parliament Ramsheth Thakur .
The programme was organised by the Bharatiya Janata Party Cultural Cell, North Raigad, and was held at the Adya Krantiveer Vasudev Balwant Phadke Natyagruha.
The presentation offered a thematic rendition of Geet Ramayan, bringing together elements of devotion, culture and music. Through this format, the programme attempted to present the relevance of Ramayana’s values in a contemporary context.
The performance received a positive response, with a large number of attendees present at the venue.
Former MP Ramsheth Thakur and MLA Prashant Thakur attended the programme and viewed the performance. On the occasion, it was noted that the ideas and values reflected in the Ramayana continue to remain relevant, and that music serves as an effective medium to communicate these themes to wider audiences.

A large number of attendees from different walks of life were present for the programme.
The cultural presentation featured performances by Snehal Damle, among others, and sought to create a blend of musical storytelling and devotional expression.
The event highlighted the continued relevance of cultural programmes rooted in classical narratives, while also serving as a platform to bring such themes to contemporary audiences.
