The programme was organised by the Ramsheth Thakur Social Development Mandal and staged at the Adya Krantiveer Vasudev Balwant Phadke Natyagruha..

The event was attended by Ramsheth Thakur along with his wife Shakuntala Thakur, and other invited guests including senior leader Y. T. Deshmukh and cultural representatives.

On the occasion, Thakur was also felicitated by the Mumbai Marathi Patrakar Sangh in recognition of his public life.
